Google Trends:
Google Trends Insights:
When taking a look at the graph above, you
can see a drastic difference in the comparison between the two chocolate
brands, Kinder and Lindt. As you can tell, during the fall season (September,
October, & November), is when the increase occurs in interest to chocolate.
That being said, I believe the reason they both sky rocket up during that time
is because of Halloween season. Now looking at both, you can tell that Lindt chocolate
has a higher interest overtime compared to kinder chocolate. Though when
comparing it to the chocolate industry, you can tell that it’s fairly low. I
believe the reason behind this is because people don’t usually try out new
types of chocolate, anything that is popular and a known name brand is what get
searched up the most. Loyal customers will stick to their specific type of
chocolate.
Latent Semantic Indexing Keywords:
1) Kinder Chocolate Ingredient 2) Kinder Chocolate 3) Kinder Chocolate Banned
1)
Lindt 2) Lindt Flavors 3) Lindt Promo Code
Summary:
All in all, both brands have a strong
consumer attraction site, something that is eye opener to bring marketers,
consumers, etc. in to the site to learn more about their brand. They are both
doing well in terms of SEO, easy access to their website, and very user
friendly. An area that they both could improve on is mobile app because both
don’t have an app for mobile users to access. This is very convenient for
people now a days because everyone is on their mobile devices with all kind of
apps and with an app for these brands, it will be an easy access for
consumers.
